For our monthly walk in September, a group of us went on a guided London Walk https://www.walks.com through Hampstead Village. We learnt of the historical and current allure for famous literary and artistic folk; Keats, Constable, Du Maurier, Dench, Gallagher and Cumberbatch to name but a few. It is amazing to think that this Georgian “village” is a stone’s throw from the centre of London. Another such walk is planned for the Spring of 2027. Watch this space.
