Risk assessments of NWR group meet-ups

One aspect of NWR that many groups tell us that they value is that their meet-ups are covered by our public liability insurance. This policy provides cover if an accident, injury or any damage to property were to occur.
 
We have been advised by our insurers to request that members complete an annual risk assessment of their meeting place – whether this is a home, village hall or walk. NWR staff have created a simple and easy to use online form to be completed once a year for each NWR meet-up.

We don’t expect this to be a time-consuming or complicated task and staff will be able to answer any questions you may have. NWR takes the wellbeing and safety of our members seriously and we encourage members to be supportive of this new process and although it is not compulsory to perform a risk assessment, it could prove imperative should a claim be pursued.
