Arnold is a long standing, lively and friendly group and we normally meet fortnightly on various weekday nights at 7.30pm, with occasional afternoon meetings also. Meetings currently are face-to-face meetings, either in a suitable local venue or member’s home and include discussions, researched topics, occasional outside speakers or trips, quizzes etc, and we aim to cover a range of light-hearted and more thought-provoking topics. We have a book group, a craft group and varied monthly daytime activities such as walks, cinema or gallery visits. We also have a number of social events during the year, helped along by food and wine! A number of us go Youth Hostelling for a weekend each year. We have over 20 members and have had a healthy influx of new members in recent years. We would love to hear from anyone interested in joining us.
