We are a small and friendly group who meet once a fortnight, usually in members’ houses. The day and time of the meetings is varied to include as many people as possible. The majority of our meetings are held in the daytime.
Our discussions are lively and varied and could include researching a particular topic of interest selected by our members or discussing a current news article.
This year our research and discussions have covered; UK islands, English Riots and Uprisings, Pirates ( where we also discovered our Pirate names ) and a member’s recent visit to Bhutan. We have enjoyed a walk around Oundle exploring its history and tree trail, plus a treasure hunt and Blue Plaque walk in Central Peterborough.
Our group has been going for over 40 years and we are delighted that some of our previous members have recently returned. New members are always welcome.
