If you enjoy meeting new people and talking about a variety of subjects, why not get in touch? We are a group of over twenty women.  Our main meetings take place in members’ homes every three weeks on Mondays to Thursdays.   We have a varied programme of talks and discussions, with  a monthly coffee morning, and several special interest groups.

The Walking Group aims to walk every Friday morning, about 4/5 miles, usually with a coffee stop in the middle. Walks are to and around local villages, starting from Wantage.

The Garden Group runs on a more ad hoc basis, depending on the season. Visits are to gardens that are open to the public, garden centres and open garden days. Members also exchange ideas about our own gardens.

Members who speak French meet monthly on Thursday afternoon for varied activities, a discussion topic, a board-game, to watch a DVD, play pop songs or read poetry.

We have a coffee morning on the first Saturday of the month at the museum in Wantage. It’s a good opportunity for a chat and a chance to see members who don’t necessarily get to other meetings, and for prospective members to find out more about the group.

We’d love to hear from you!
