Our Bury St Edmunds Zoom Christmas meeting on 9 December, Wednesday evening, went with a swing! The Lockdown Panto was just as silly as we thought it would be and the ‘costumes’ entertainingly inventive.
Along with a Christmas quiz, Christmas facts, a dingbats-style car-names quiz, the ridiculous singing Christmas tree, and daft cracker jokes (groan), there was plenty to keep us laughing!

The only thing missing was the usual table loaded with scrumptious festive nibbles and drinks – although a plate of Swedish chocolate confections was dangled temptingly at us on the screen….what a tease!
