Last night our host did us proud with her organisation, technical expertise and hospitality.
Nine of us made it out on a frosty night and into the warmth of her welcome.
We had a warm, friendly, uplifting evening listing to our choices of Christmas music (plus a little poetry) and sharing with one another our associations with the music.
We sang along to a few numbers at the end, with words provided on a screen and soundtrack to back us.
Highlight for me was a clear baritone rendition of “Three Kings from Persian Lands Afar”.
Refreshments during and after the music were most welcome and the company was very congenial.
