A local AmDram society put on a celebration of the Queen’s jubilee recently and 6 of our members attended. It was very well done, with lots of references to local social history from the 1950’s. We were treated to a wonderful afternoon tea in the interval – sandwiches and sausage rolls, scones with cream and jam, plus cakes – and gallons of tea.
