NWR Sheffield (Fulwood) group regularly walk along the Porter Valley, a hidden gem in our part of Sheffield. This easy 2 mile walk from Forge Dam to Endcliffe Park, has cafés at each end, kingfishers, herons, wildflowers, water wheels and dams, (remnants of our steel and cutlery heritage) and all within SW Sheffield . This year we decided to make it our NWR Walk 2024.
