We are a group of lively minded women, who love socialising and meet every two weeks in members’ homes. Every April we have an Annual Dinner and in December we always have a Christmas party night, both are well attended. Twice a year we have a planning meeting at which we agree a programme of events for the next six month and include quiz & games nights and a wide range of topics to “keep our little grey cells exercised.”
In addition, we are affiliated to a local book club and our book for March is An American Marriage, by Tayari Jones. We have a monthly coffee group that supports our local cafes and a monthly walking group that explores the beautiful Cumbrian countryside.
