We didn’t quite get to all things but we had a good go. Our evening was understandably mostly about our numerous Spanish holidays with one member telling us about her various touring trips and another member who owned a house. We had a slide show of the Alhambra, another showing the mountain of Monserrat and the Gaudi buildings in Barcelona with Spanish guitar music. Another slide show of our members house and various other holiday photos from all of our travels including honeymoon photos.
To finish we heard the story of the ‘Magic Mirror’ which told of the King of Spain who wanted to marry but all of his prospective wives had to gaze into the mirror to see if they were suitable. There were seven of us at the meeting and it lasted the whole two hours of our Zoom call, so a very successful evening!
