I moved to Longniddry in 1983 with my husband and two little boys. A neighbour invited me to join the local NWR group and I gradually gained confidence and became the Local Organiser and eventually Area Organiser.
I was on the organising committee of the last Edinburgh Conference in 1997, To see ourselves as others see us. As a group we have held several discussion lunches and a day conference since I have made numerous good friends and was encouraged to attend National Conference by our former treasurer. Attending National Conference has now become an annual joy and making new friends and meeting old friends as well as listening to the stimulating speakers makes me return each year.
I try to support the members in the Lothian area and encourage them to find space to be you.
