Choosing sheep as our topic led to a wide ranging discussion from Dolly the clone, The order of the Golden Fleece, Dead Sheep, the play about Margaret Thatcher sacking Geoffrey Howe, The Wool Churches, a sheepherd’s view of Psalm 23 (fascinating) and a folk song about modern day sheep rustling. Finally we sampled some delicious sheep’s milk cheeses.
