Last night we enjoyed sharing the things that have scared us.
They included:-
- Leaving home country to follow a love
- Facing the climb up a free-swinging rope ladder from the bottom of Alum Pot
- Going into hospital for the first time
- The knowledge of what had to be tackled to get back on to dry land via boat ladder and dinghy
- Getting cut off on rocks by the tide
- Starting nursing, with all the responsibility
- Performing in public
- Via ferrata ladders up vertical heights
- Conquering fear of heights by rock climbing
But that doesn’t tell the whole story of how one tale sparked another and another all evening and kept us sharing for a good evening’s friendship.
