For our meeting last week we were each tasked with choosing a woman who was the first female to do/discover/create/achieve something, and spend five minutes or so enlightening the rest of the group about this character. It was not easy! As is often the case, once you start looking, there is almost too much to choose from.

Needless to say, this made for a varied, entertaining and informative evening, buoyed along by much fun and laughter.
Definitely a topic to be recommended!
