Weβre a friendly, lively, busy and welcoming group of more than 40. Our monthly discussion meetings are held on different days from Monday to Thursday in the afternoons and evenings at membersβ homes. We have fortnightly coffee mornings, monthly lunches, an art appreciation group, three book groups, a more informal one called Bookends, and a Canasta group. As well as a weekly pub quiz weβve re-introduced Scrabble. Outings are organised to places of interest, cinema, theatre etc, and, in the spring and summer, there will be a canal boat trip, a town walk followed by dinner,Β plus croquet sessions. Β Β Β New members and new ideas are always welcome, so come along and give us a try before deciding if youβd like to join us.
