We’re a friendly, lively, busy and welcoming group of almost 50 members. Our monthly discussion meetings are held on different days from Monday to Thursday in the afternoons and evenings at members’ homes. We have fortnightly coffee mornings, monthly lunches, an art appreciation group, a theatre group, a walking group, three book groups, a more informal one called Bookends, and a Canasta group. As well as a weekly pub quiz we’ve re-introduced occasional Scrabble. We organise trips on an ad hoc basis. In the past year, we have visited Battersea Power Station and the Biba exhibition to name but two, and have arranged a walking holiday. New members and new ideas are always welcome, so come along and give us a try before deciding if you’d like to join us.
